Abilities:

  • Pollen: Magic damage and 1 random status ailment (Poison, Silence, Confusion, Disease 60%) to one enemy (Flower only)
  • Vampire: Physical damage and absorbs MP (Flower only)
  • Prismatic Spore: Magic damage and 1 random status ailment (Poison, Silence, Confusion, Disease 60%) to all enemies (Flower only) - Used once below 60% HP, and once below 30% HP
  • Rampage: Magic damage to all enemies (Flower only) - Used once below 60% HP, and once below 30% HP
  • Entwine: Physical damage and paralyze to one enemy (Ivy only)
  • Wild Thorn: Physical damage and disease to one enemy (Ivy only)
  • Nutrient Absorption: Physical damage and absorbs HP (Root only)
  • Healing Earth: Heal (5000 HP) and cure status ailment (Root only)
  • Running Rampant: Physical damage to all enemies (Ivy, Root and Leaves) - If Flower is killed

Strategy[edit | edit source]

  • Don't kill the flower before killing all the parts, this will trigger Running Rampant and probably wipe you
  • Use Full Break or equivalent in each part, if you can bring more than one breaker you can use it in multiple parts in a single turn
  • Having a tank is important to cover your weaker units against normal attacks or single target abilities
  • Make sure to bring items to cure status ailments so your healer can focus on healing
  • It's recommended to kill them in the following order: Ivy (B) > Root (C) > Leaves (D) > Flower (A)
  • If you lack strong single target abilities you can use Raging Fist from Ifrit and Stab from the Halloween Event or just attack normally to accumulate your character's LB
  • Try to defend with your units when you get the flower under 60% / 30% HP or to kill her in one turn when you are near the 30% threshold
  • Be mindful of your MP in a long fight
  • While the chance is low, you can try to Blind the Root to make the fight a little easier
  • And while you should target all missions at the same time, you can defeat Antenolla more easily, and without death, if you ignore the defeat with an esper mission. You may try to repeat the quest several times to achieve all missions.
