Mogcake
All players will receive the standard mogcake recipe pack for free! Better recipes will be available in the bundle shop to enhance the mogcake-crafting process. Also, claim a free mogcake when you log in daily during the event period!
This recipe will allow players to craft mogcakes for King Mog in the Farplane. They can be traded for items, and the boxes can be sold for gil.
Take part in quests and fight monsters for mogcake crafting materials like flour, lotus seed paste, brown eggs, and coarse rock sugar, as well as mogcakes. The further you advance through quests, the better the drop rate!

Guide[]
Any battle (excluding Vortex) can drop materials for mogcakes. It's recommended to do exploration since they yield highest number of battles per energy. Higher story dungeon or exploration will drop more material. Anything from Dirnado like Dwarves' Forge - Exploration or Maranda Coast - Exploration should be good. Locke's passive ability, Treasure Hunter, does not increases the drop rates of the event materials in a meaningful number.
All recipes produce same amount of mogcakes in the same timeframe, though purchasable recipes have slightly lower material cost. If you are planning to buy all important items from King Mog, it's highly recommended to buy a rare or premium recipe as well as additional crafting slot. You can craft up to 4320 mogcakes per day, per crafting slot.
You can gather necessary materials until the event period ends, but you can still craft and trade with King Mog until the claim period ends. It is recommended to spend the event period gathering excess in materials so that you can continue to produce mogcakes afterwards.

Notes[]
- Mogcakes goes into items while ingredients and boxes goes into materials. They all stack to 9999
- There are no uses of boxes, you may sell them for gil
- Mini burst pots are not worth purchasing at all. It'll be easier to obtain them once Enchanted Maze is introduced
- While choosing the recipe to craft, sort them by descending order, and they will be placed on top
- Fine Flour is the most-needed ingredient, and you can use them to determine how many mogcakes you can craft
- On average, you will obtain 350 fine flour on a complete Maranda Coast - Exploration run
- While a Dwarves' Forge - Exploration run can get you 450 fine flour on average
- Starting from Monday 9/12, you will receive daily ingredients bundle through your inbox, enough for 1 premium recipe
Autumn Moon Marathon[]
Additional rewards are given through a separate event, "Autumn Moon Marathon", which counts the total mogcakes created by all players combined.
Depending on the amount of mogcakes created, we can receive the following:
- 850,000,000 Mogcakes – 5 Metal Cactuar
- 1,000,000,000 Mogcakes – 1 set of Megacite
- 1,500,000,000 Mogcakes – 50 Energy
- 2,500,000,000 Mogcakes – 100 Lapis
- 5,000,000,000 Mogcakes – 1 Rare Summon Ticket
