A terrible monster-like, fully-armored human-like demon. Dante sets out a series of challenges for those he sets his eyes on, and only appears before those strong enough in mind and body to make it through, at which time he offers up a contract. Though it is told that Dante will grant any wish should one pay the price and sign the contract, since the initial trials are so harsh it is said that few have ever been able to make it through.
