Giant beetles that inhabit the forests. It takes a great deal of effort to break through the outer shell of these beasts. They will often attack in groups, and do so with such regulation that one could imagine a commanding officer giving orders in the background. Once every few years, they will migrate en masse to a new habitat and, like harbingers of the apocalypse, have been known to darken the skies with their sheer numbers.
