An aquatic monster with the upper body of a female human and the lower body of a fish. She uses her beauty to bewitch men before dragging them to the bottom of the sea. Though having women nearby be helpful, since the mermaid's charms only work on men, fisherman prefer to maintain the tradition of not allowing women on their ships, instead employing strictly male crewman. It is said that some unlucky crews found themselves all taken to the bottom of the sea, leaving their ship to return abandoned.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

  • Keeping one/both Poisoned will help manage their cura's.
  • The Mermaid's are capable of doing Elemental Chain's, which can be devastating if your units are not geared correctly; Barwatera/Barblizzara are not needed but will obviously help tremendously.
  • Advisable to focus on equipping armor/accessories that have a high SPR stat rather than DEF stat as the Mermaid's will never physically attack.
  • Saving all your LB's and unloading onto a single Mermaid is advisable, while attempting to poison them the first or second round. Your goal should be to burst down a Mermaid by the second, or third round at the latest. After that, dealing with a single Mermaid should be no trouble at all.
