Tips[edit | edit source]

  • See testimonials and discussions.
  • Status ailment resistances to prepare include blind, paralyze, and also stop and death. However, these are all ST attacks, mostly physical.
  • Elemental attacks will be Fire (ST/AoE physical, has 35% imperil), Dark (ST/AoE magic), and Lightning (AoE fixed hybrid).
  • Machina, Beast, and Demon killer will be helpful.
    • Left Arm #1, #2 are Demon race.
    • Right Arm #1, #2 are Beast race.
    • Left and Right Arm #3 are both Machina race.
  • Left Arm #1, #2 are strong against dark, but #3 is partially strong against lightning and light.
  • Right Arm #1, #2 are strong against water, but #3 is partially strong against lightning and light.
  • Right Arm gives heals and buffs.
  • Each time both arms are dead, Aigaion will use his Arms are dead pattern for 4 turns. Then he will buff his defenses and summon new arms. After the last set of arms are dead, he will permanently stick to the Arms are dead pattern.
    • The frequency of some attacks change past 40% HP.

Example Strategy[edit | edit source]

Everyone had high spirit/hp to survive the fixed AoEs. Sieghard covered the physical damage while the arms were alive and provoked the lasers while guarding when the arms were dead. Ignis provided general mitigation, resistance, and stat buffs. Lenna healed and provided magic mitigation (with her cooldown). Kryla did breaks and sealed the boss with light element.

Bartz single target chained the arms, focusing on the left arm first. While the arms are being revived, prepare a Brave Blade to one shot the left arm as soon as it re-appears.
