Physical strategy[]
Offense team:
- Two chainers with dark weapons
- Magic tank
- Breaker
- Buffer (MS Nichol, Seaside Nichol, or Zarg preferably)
Defense team:
- Healer
- Provoke tank
- Summoner
- Mage with any one of ice/lightning/wind/earth damage
Gear your magic tank for HP/SPR and elemantal resist. Above 50% for the relevant elements should be sufficient. If you have a 7* tank with provoke, you can probably get away with merging those two roles. Equip with Lakshmi for Stop resist.
If you have the gear for it, you can build your breaker as an evade tank.
Equip everyone with paralysis resistance and spread around elemental damage
With MS Nichol, this strategy can be done without ever switching units. Otherwise, you'll need to swap in your healer occasionally.
Phase 1 - 4
For the first two phases, Nunki will be vulnerable to the elemenal damage for the mission, so take care of that. With mitigation buffs and breaks, Nunki's AoE physical should be manageable.
Once the mission is taken care of, start chaining. If your chainers are strong enough, you should reach a threshold each time.
Phase 5
This is the choke point. Nunki is going to buff himself each turn, so you want to end this quickly, ideally in one turn. If not, you'll need to dispel every turn to keep his damage in check. Switch to the elemental mage if necessary.
Phase 6 - 7
Nunki switches to non-elemental damage now. If you got though with chaining, this should be easy. Hold off on pushing the threshold until the turn count hits an even number multiple of three (6, 12, etc). After the final threshold, assumimg your magic tank survives, chain Nunki to death and fire off a damaging limit burst for credit.
