Talk:Diabolos

His name is Diablos --Lungo (talk) 10:35, 24 September 2016 (EDT)

It is written as Diabolos when he speaks and in the monster guide, is Diablos in the actual battle and esper page. Until they decide which one is the correct in the game we are just leaving it as Diabolos. --Umuzu (talk) 10:46, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
On the Esper page it says Diablos, and I'm quite sure they said diablos in the dialogue. Wasn't Diabolos just a guess just like the names for the 2 towns? --Lungo (talk) 19:56, 24 September 2016 (EDT)

Diabolos1, Diabolos2 --Umuzu (talk) 20:17, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
OK, in the Monster Guide it does say Diabolos, but in the Esper Guide it says Diablos--Lungo (talk) 20:56, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
And this goes back to what I said at first, they are both official translations and the game has both, we are just leaving Diabolos for now until they fix it, and in case they don't after a few updates and keep them like this then we can think about making a Diablos page for the esper and keep the Diabolos page for the monster, if it seems necessary. It's not like this is the first time they had issues with this kind of thing like the Snow Dragon and Frost Dragon. --Umuzu (talk) 21:07, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
OK, I'm still very confused, if you want the page for the Esper it should be Diablos, if you want the monster it should be Diabolos, that would make sense to me but instead the situation is that Diablos is a deleted page linking you to Diabolos_(Monster), ie linking to a page they probably didn't want to go to, and the page name has a specification where a specification isn't needed, and the reason not to just clear this up is that in a future update they might change one of the names to the other one. --Lungo (talk) 22:06, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
Or maybe we just redirect Diablos to Diabolos, and Diablos (Monster) to Diabolos (Monster), or the other way around, whatever. This way we cover both official names. --Mephy (talk) 21:52, 24 September 2016 (EDT)
Funny how a spelling error that was corrected ages ago had relevance for debate. --FencerTJ (talk) 02:48, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
