Recommended Purchases[edit source]

I question whether Trust Moogle should really be on the "recommended" list. It is at best comparable to TM farming in Earth Shrine, and at worst prevents someone from buying something that would actually be more useful, e.g. Megacites or Awakening Mats. Also, I SERIOUSLY doubt the Rabbit Foot should be recommended given that it is only barely useful in any circumstance and there are MANY objectively better accessories to equip. So really the only reason to get it is for a complete set of accessories. Cerbius (talk) 09:07, 1 September 2016 (EDT)

Most people don't macro or farm TM, and trust moogle can be saved until you have good unit to use it for, it's actually very useful. I agree with rabbit's foot. --Cysidus (talk) 09:33, 1 September 2016 (EDT)

Given what the Fat Chocobo currently offers, I think Star Quartz does not belong in the recommended purchases. If it is known from the JP region that Star Quartz will in the future become a resource that actually matters, then maybe I'm wrong. In its place, I think the 150x Megacites should be put in. On average, each trip I've taken through the Dwarf Workshop exploration has been worth 22 Megacites, which is just amazing. Metal Gigantuars should also be recommended for the same reason (660,000+ Unit EXP per Dwarf Workshop trip is, again, just amazing), though many players would probably need fewer than 100. --Crow (talk) 13:53, 2 September 2016 (EDT)

It is known from the JP version that future Fat Chocobos do offer excellent rewards (including Trust Moogles). Given how rare this resource is, any opportunity to get them is a good idea. Cerbius (talk) 14:18, 2 September 2016 (EDT)

Just in a couple of weeks there will be a MAG+20% accessory for 50 star quartz and counter accessory for 30 star quartz. --Cysidus (talk) 16:51, 2 September 2016 (EDT)

Stellar Shield error[edit source]

Did anyone notice that they advertised MAG+15 MP+10 but gave us Mag+10 and and MP+15? Maybe some proper complainign will get it changed OR at least some apologetic reward since it actually makes the shield quite a bit worse ;) ManuS (talk) 12:03, 1 September 2016 (EDT)

Looks like they fixed this. My Stellar Shield is showing MP+10, MAG+15. --Rand (talk) 11:40, 11 September 2016 (EDT)

Total Cost of every item[edit source]

I didn't include the three items without limitations of course, but the total cost of all items comes to 309,550 mogcakes. If you buy four slots and craft the premium recipes for 1440 each twice a day per slot for 21 days, you will end up with 241,290 mogcakes. This does not include the random drops. It is reasonable to be able to buy everything on the list if you really wanted to. You may have to speed craft for 100 lapis. If you are diligent and had a premium recipe going every chance possible, you could land 345,600 mogcakes by the end without lapis. Cloudcroft (talk) 01:36, 1 September 2016 (PDT)

It isn't reasonable to buy everything. They have way too low value for speed craft to worth it. King Mog event will be a frequent event, you don't wanna spend all of your lapis. --Cysidus (talk) 22:04, 1 September 2016 (EDT)
Thanks for the heads up. Getting everything may not be reasonable for some, but might be something someone is interested in. With that said, I intend on saving my lapis. Do we know how often this event will occur? I assumed it was going to be a yearly event. --Cloudcroft (talk) 17:13, 2 September 2016 (EDT)
No event has been repeated, though the game isn't 1 year old yet, not even in JP. Once we get actual FF events running, there's about 2 King Mog event per month. --Cysidus (talk) 19:42, 2 September 2016 (EDT)

Ending Date[edit source]

The ingame announcement states the campaign ends on the 15th at 0:59 PDT, whereas the Wiki says the 17th. Was the 17 a typo or gained from another source? --CyberGhost42 (talk) 02:41, 3 September 2016 (EDT)

Original image(deleted, see this instead) says 17, so they must've changed it. --Cysidus (talk) 03:54, 3 September 2016 (EDT)

Premium Recipe Glitch?[edit source]

Does anyone have confirmation that the Premium Recipe glitch is real? I do not have any indication (either from the text/image during crafting, or from how many mogcakes I have when I go to the exchange) that I have ever gotten less than the anticipated 1440 from the Premium Recipe crafts. Is this something that was perhaps a graphical glitch for some users, but not all? Is there any official word on this? Cerbius (talk) 09:32, 9 September 2016 (EDT)

I tried looking into it yesterday and it just looked like they changed the text for some languages with this incorrect x360 number, but the recipe itself should be normal and give 1440 cakes --Umuzu (talk) 09:58, 9 September 2016 (EDT)

Then can we fix the page to reflect that the recipe does still give 1440 mogcakes, and remove the warning about this supposed glitch? Cerbius (talk) 14:39, 9 September 2016 (EDT)

This was fixed yesterday --Umuzu (talk) 16:08, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
