Why is original Noctis not one of the bonus units, me ponders???
Gentiana[]
Gentiana is a pretty interesting unit. She's fairly similar to Christine, and they would pair up nicely since they share both a chaining family (CW) and element (Ice).
Christine is quite a bit stronger though; in particular, Christine has several powerful ignore SPR skills that Gentiana lacks. On the other hand, Christine is a limited unit so it's hard to find friends, whereas you'll likely see Gentiana friends in your friend list for a while to come.
To me, Gentiana's biggest weakness is that she doesn't have any evocation damage skills as such; if she had, it would have made her a LOT more interesting.
If you have Summer Folka & Citra, you may want to consider getting them Gentiana's STMR for a nice boost in MAG and EVO damage.

Summon Esper mission[]
Summoning an Esper is never really a worry as you have 2 weeks to get it done... but you can fill the Esper gauge pretty quick if you bring a friend Gentiana & dualcast Frozen Flurry.

Given that everyone should have a 7* Gentiana by now (there are now billions of them on friends list with 200% bonus), there is no longer any point putting up a 7* Gladiolus, Ignis or Prompto!
