Strategy[]
What you need:
- Three Quake chainers. Any combination of Pure Summoner Rydia, William, and Dark Fina. The higher the MAG the better.
- Healer with reraise and petrify resist. Ayaka or Lotus Mage Fina are preferable since they can double as a buffer/mana battery.
- Magic tank with 150% wind resist and petrify resist.
- Provoke tank, preferably with 100% evasion and petrify resist.
Have your magic tank guard against Tetra Sylphid's magic attacks. Use reraise just in case the non-elemental attacks do enough damage to kill the tank. Your provoke tank will almost never take damage. Have your healer rotate between reraise, buffing, and mana battery as necessary.
Your Quake chainers need to be able to do above 20% damage in a single turn for this to work. Whittle Tetra Sylphid to as close to 41% as possible before pushing past the threshold. Once you've summoned Golem for the mission, Quake chain Tetra Sylphid past 40%. Your provoke tank will get snorted, but physical attacks will wait until next turn. Chow tank, no dispels, easy win by FalconX[]
> Party: 7* merc.Ramza (def1108), 7* Chow (spr1250 +100+ wind +fire gear), 7* Rem (mag1200), 6* William (808mag), 6* Rikku (lb fill build), friend: 7* grim lord Sakura (mag1800).
basics: Chow keeps magic cover up, m.Ramza keeps physical cover up after 80%, had provoke shield to get random hits to him, rikku does HyperNull & lb reraise when 50%hp ish. Rem & william combo Quake x2, was doing about 25-30%hp dmg with sakuras x3 grim flames mp50.
at 40% will knock out your own partys highest magic, I chose grim lord sakura cause had 1800mag, thought she would get tossed, but nope. Have petrify silence resist ready. Chow at that lvl SPR takes really no dmg but had high element resist + hyperNull.
> after 80% keep stop resist on party. only william died x1 cause multiple physical attk in a row, just keep reraise on party, stop resist, and had refresh on tank.
