Easy Clear all bonus units 2/4 missions first pass[]
I got to say this is the easiest farming even we have had in a bit, I say this due to to fact that you can clear it with easy and not much gear with all bonus units.
So I took in: Cagnazzo x2 no equipment one had Fennir
6 star Pure Summoner Rydia Mag 765 6 star Barbruiccia Mag 718 5 star LV 1 Atoning Dragoon Kain ATK 305 Mag 125
Friend unit Barbariccia 7 star over 1500 mag
Round one : One tornado from both my chainers with a Aerora Cap from Kain (Not really needed) Friend unit does nothing
Round two : Two tornadoes from my chainers with a Aerora cap from kain friend unit does nothing
Round Three : Two Tornadoes from my chainers with a Aerora cap from kain and my friend unit using dual tornadoes too.
Round Four : On this turn check your MP if its not high enough to do a dual cast tornado on all chaining units. Do this cast Refreshing winds off one of your Barbariccia's, then use the Cagnazzo with Fennir to evade one strike and block with all units. You should gain back about 100MP off this one of the Cagnazzo should have died. Then Dual cast tornado with chainers and then Kain cap again.
Round Five : On this round be careful they can cast reraise on themselves, I'm pretty sure it comes from Mindy make sure if you don't TKO them you kill at least HER. You Should be able to kill them all easily. With the same chain cap method. But if you cannot. Remember you need to cast dispell on which ever one you want to kill next because they can reraise again! I think its Mindy that needs to die. They also can do damage mitigation and a buff so turn one TKO is optimal. If you don't have another source of Dispell you can use the Holy Torch Item.
Bonus rounds: As usual are nothing so use a low level spell or auto attacks to save MP or use your limit breaks.
This event is great because it offers so many bonus units. Getting the select ticket and the Rainbow + moogle 10% is a snap. Have fun farming!

I'm not sure if I'm posting here to be helpful, or to brag about having 2x 7*Barby. She's actually the first rainbow I got 4 of, and I wasn't actually intending to use her 2nd copy since I have other Tornado chainers. Rather, I did it to get a trust moogle, just in case I decide I need another of her TMR some day. Speaking of her TMR, it does have maneater, so it is pretty handy here. I am probably a bit lucky that I hadn't yet merged her for the STMR, which is what I plan to do.
Anyway, my team: AD Kain, PS Rydia, Cagnazzo, 2xBarby, friend Barby. Only the Barbies are 7*, the rest are all lvl 100. Main Barbie MAG 1850+, both 2nd Barbie (lvl 101) & PS Rydia are just over 1000. With this team, it doesn't really matter what my friend has.
For the no-magic mission, chain Tempest Eye Wall. My 2nd Barbie is only at lvl 101, so she has to do something else instead (need level 105 for TEW). No worries though, just the pair of them will rip through each wave. Put Rikku's Pouch on one of the others, to do Eccentrick at the start of each round to ensure everyone's LB fills by the final round (although this is probably not necessary). Then all 3 Barbies chaining their LB's in the final round just simply shreds it. Tempest Eye Wall is 120 MP to cast, so you may need an elixir or 2 by the end. But you should only need 480MP if you use LB's on the final round. Give the Barbies a rest on bonus rounds.
For subsequent runs, I just simply had all 3 Barbies plus PS Rydia casting a single Tornado, even on the final round. Just hit repeat each turn, it couldn't be easier. I also put Frozen Hurricane plus some MP materia on Cagnazzo for an additional chainer.

- It's me again, with an additional thought. I just noticed that Black Mage Golbez has a 300% bonus, making him the preferred friend unit. I haven't seen him out in the wild yet, just heaps of Barbies. Anyway, looking at his kit, he has a Flood chain move, which is very similar to Tornado, it just has a longer delay before the first hit (133 versus 80 frames, so about a second). So... he should chain ok with Barbie single-Tornado if you kick him off first. Dual-casting is probably going to be difficult though.
- Another thing I just noticed. PS Rydia and AD Kain bonus increases from 50% to 75% when you awaken them to 7*. I only have one PS Rydia, but I did have a dupe for AD Kain, which I have now awakened. You might want to check your units as well!
- Further to the above, I just realised I can get 75% bonus from Rubicante, whereas I'm only getting 50% from PS Rydia.
- Ok one more comment, because I am on a roll. How sadistic of them is it to make Barbie the 100% Arena bonus unit of the week... and deny the use of Tornado.

Wait what now? Did they actually read my last comment above and extend Barbie's Arena time by a week? Glory to the heavens! Tornado chaining teams are a thing again! They really shouldn't encourage me like this! Can we have free Lapis forever?

Actually, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Shantotto. She was the original dual-casting Tornado expert. She is easy to obtain (although she might say otherwise) but if you chain a couple of her with a half decent Barbie friend, even very new players might be able to clear this quest. Just saying.
