Ariana Grande Collaboration Event
Obtain Dangerous Ariana unit by clearing the first stage and farm exclusive materials to awaken her to 6
. Defeat monsters inside the vortex to obtain musical notes used to craft exclusive equipment.
Story[]
A beautiful singer has appeared to hold a concert in hopes of spreading love and peace throughout the world of Lapis with her songs.
However, a resentful spirit who lost her wonderful voice becomes jealous of the shining artist and decides to ruin her performance. As countless monsters start appearing and attacking the audience without warning, disruption and distress overcome what was meant as an entertaining event.
Now it is up to Rain and his friends to help the singer achieve her goals by vanquishing these foes.

All players will get rewards depending on the total number of Dangerous Ariana units obtained by the community. Below are the rewards and designated milestone tiers:
- 10 Metal Gigantuar and 100,000 gil
- 60 energy and

Additional reward: all players who evolve Dangerous Ariana to 5
or 6 within the event duration will get

All players will receive the rewards depending on the number of discussions posted on the event thread:

Event 2: Dangerous Woman Tour Concert Ticket with Meet and Greet Pass Giveaway
Players need to take a screenshot of their party while battling the Dangerous Woman Tour dungeon boss, Resentful Noise Spirit. Players must then post their screenshot together with their Player ID on the event thread. Players also need to add a short explanation on how much they like Ariana Grande and FFBE.
Two winners will be randomly selected to receive Dangerous Woman Tour concert tickets [1 concert ticket per person]. Please take note that travel expenses are not included on the winner's package.

Abilities[]
- Attack up to 3 times per turn
- Deafening Pitch - Magic damage (10x) to one enemy
- Dissonance - Magic damage (2.5x) and silence (50%) to all enemies OR magic damage (4x) and silence (100%) to all enemies
Strategy[]
- Its attacks are mostly non-elemental magic damage, use SPR buff like Focus or Shellga.
- Use anti-silence accessories or materia like White Cape or Ribbon on your caster and healer. Healer with innate silence resistance or counter like Refia or Santa Roselia is also recommended.
- Charlotte's Cleansing Light (with Patriot equipped) and Cloud of Darkness' Return cures the entire party of Silence. Tilith's Goddess's Miracle and Luka's Priestess Miracle will also heal and cure silence. These skills, can be cast while its unit is silenced.
- Use lightning and dark damage weapons and abilities as it is 50% resistant to everything else.
- Equip Diabolos for 50% damage bonus from Demon Killer passive.
- Bringing a Noctis with you will secure a win by repeated use of Point-Warp. It will always restore more HP than he can take, and it will recover the mana spent. If the Noctis is low level, it will just take more time to deal enough damage.

Strategy[]
- For the "No ability" mission, the following are:

- Resentful Noise Spirit deals magic damage. Keeping the party's SPR up with Shellga is a must.
- Equip Diabolos for 50% physical damage bonus from Demon Killer.
- Mages with Thundaga or Bioga such as Exdeath, Ace, and even Dangerous Ariana is recommended.
- Healers such as Refia and Y'shtola are recommended. (Or even Dangerous Ariana with Cura from Carbuncle if you already have Encore from a previous attempt)
- Be sure to equip accessories such as White Cape or Ribbon to your mages as the boss frequently inflict silence. Siren's Robe is also an option.
- Use lightning or dark damage dealing weapons and magic as it is 50% resistant to everything else.
General Tips[]
- Starting at the Lobby, a single Metal Minituar will drop. Corridor will drop a single Metal Cactuar. Waiting Room will drop 1-2 Metal Cactuars. The Main Hall will drop a Metal Gigantuar.
- It never hurts to bring Locke while farming for his Treasure Hunter ability.
- The most efficient farming level for awakening materials is Entrance level.
- The most efficient farming level for Cactuars, Notes, and awakening materials is Lobby.
- You will likely have a better Music Note drop rate per energy in the Main Hall, because the boss seems to always have a drop. The drop seems to usually be a Music Note, and very often it drops DOUBLE music notes; whereas, the Lobby boss often gives no drops at all, and when it does, it is often an awakening material.
- The Main Hall has a better exp/energy ratio than the Chamber of Experience in the Vortex when considering the Metal Gigantuar. With 3,310 exp per energy, it's very close to Cactuar Dunes (~3,333 exp per energy).

Trivia
- Global and the JP version had the event nearly within two weeks of each other.
- The song Touch It that plays during the event was given permission to be remixed by Square Enix before being placed in the game. It uses a full orchestra, and is not as Pop-like as some people were doubtful of.
- The outfit that you create and the in-game character wears is fashioned after the outfit Ariana Grande wore on the album art for Dangerous Woman.
