A mage from a distant world who commanded the airship force known as the Red Wings after Cecil left Baron. Covered from head to toe in jet black armor, there are none who have seen his face. In charge of the four Archfiends, he uses his power to secretly obtain all the crystals he can find. Able to wield powerful magic, Golbez clashed many times with Cecil and his fellow guardians of the crystals.
