King Mog or Mog Minister will exchange various rewards for special currency within the event period. You can obtain this currency by defeating enemies inside the event vortex dungeon. Using the following bonus units will increase the amount of currency received in the vortex dungeon. The bonus is cumulative so you can use as many as you can, including one from a friend companion.

Event Guide

• See testimonials and discussions.
• If you're borrowing friend's unit or have your own to carry, bring unit with AoE Attack to make the battle faster. The bonus units Agrias and Gaffgarion both learn Bladeblitz early on, while providing 75% bonus currency.
• Chocobo, Black Chocobo and Red Chocobo may spawn in ADV, PRO or ELT, dropping 500, 700 and 1,000, respectively.
• Dark Fina with at least 700 MAG can solo ELT easily with her Ultima. Equip her with Draco Spike, as it will deal double damage to Ghidra and Tiamat.
• Any Lv. 40 *2 Esper can damage up to 100.000+ damage to all enemies. You can equip it to your bonus unit to increase your damage output. (Be careful if you use Titan as High Seraph Ultima resist to earth damage)

Strategy

• High Seraph Ultima is accompanied with 2 Ultima Demon.
• Her Ultima cannot be reflected, but it can be sealed with Sealing Blade or Manufacted Nethicite.
• If you debuff her with breaks she will retaliate with stronger Grand Cross and is able to use stronger Ultima.
• Be sure to equip Diabolos on your strongest attacking unit for both Demon Killer & Man-Eater.
• High Seraph Ultima has 100% resistance to Earth. Avoid bringing Earth elemental weapons.
• Ultima Demons & Hashmal have 100% resistance to Light. Avoid bringing Light element weapons.
• Deathbringer is likely the strongest elemental weapon to chain with as it also comes with Man-Eater.
• All other elemental weapons, in order of descending power, include:
  • Fire: Dandelga, Crimson Saber, Chirijiraden, Vernard, Candy Gun, Wind Drake Talon, Beast Hammer, Flame Lance, Flametongue, Fire Rod, Wizard's Staff
  • Ice: Fryevia's Needle, Lad Mirazh, Ice Lance, Icebrand, Ice Rod
  • Thunder: Sparky, Mighty Hammer, Raikiri, Thunder Spear, Coral Sword, Shock Whip, Rod of Lightning
  • Water: Brotherhood, Viking Axe, Aqua Blade, Trident
  • Wind: Kaiser Knuckles, Calamity Spear (Fang only), Zwill Crossblade, Sonic Knuckles, Air Knife, Wind Spear, Kazekiri, Survival Edges
• Agrias' Lance ability and the HP/MP drain abilities of Gaffgarion work well against the Ultima Demons for sustainability as well as reducing the demons' spell-casting capabilities.
• Bushido - Freedom works very well on the final stage on a well-equipped Agrias or Gaffgarion.
