This wild beast is not only extremely territorial, it is also known to be the most intelligent of all wolves. It does not live in packs, as other wolves do. Instead it lives alone, and anytime that an interloper is found within its territory, it attacks without hesitation. This hunter can make itself perfectly undetectable as it sneaks up on prey, then it lunges upon its victims to finish them off with a quick snap of its fangs before they can draw another breath. If you see the grass swaying on a windless day, take care--you may have found yourself in the presence of this fearsome predator.
