King Mog or Mog Minister will exchange various rewards for special currency within the event period. You can obtain this currency by defeating enemies inside the event vortex dungeon. Using the following bonus units will increase the amount of currency received in the vortex dungeon. The bonus is cumulative so you can use as many as you can, including one from a friend companion.

Story

The life of the Planet is in great peril.

Shinra Inc., a company with a stranglehold on the world itself, sucks away daily at its supply of "mako energy".

However, this energy supporting the lives of so many is none other than the life of the Planet itself.

One fateful day, Shinra Inc. orders its SOLDIERs to survey the small town of Nibelheim, located at the foot of Mt. Nibel--home to Shinra's first mako reactor.

The survey, however, takes an unexpected turn for the worse...

Tips

• See testimonials and discussions.
• Bonus enemies will appear with higher frequency the higher the stage is.
  • Golden Bomb drops 500 currency on defeat.
  • Yin & Yang drops 1000 currency on defeat.
• You can use Escape to avoid any regular battle, but you will lose ~100 currency per wave on LGD.
• Using many low level bonus units on LGD is difficult but possible with some gearing.
  • Befriend and use strong friend unit with high bonus.
  • Use two or more bonus units with Pod 153, and they will be able to produce high chain for the strong unit to finish.
  • Use Crazy Day for imperil if needed.
  • Use Rikku's Pouch to break. Alternatively, use World Destroyer.
    • All enemies except Nibel Wolf are immune to status effects, so Toxic Rain is useless.
  • Use Hero's Rhyme to give stats buff to party.
