The area map has several stages which must be cleared in order. Parties and equipment can't be changed on the area map. You will not be able to return to the home screen until you complete all stages or give up. Losing on a battle will also return you to the home screen, losing all progress and energy used unless lapis is used to revive.
There are two types of stages, one being battle stages, in which wave battles occurs, and the other being scenario stages, in which story scenes play out.

Tips[]
- See testimonials and discussions.
- There are missions where you are required to deal elemental damage. Equip your unit with the corresponding elemental weapon or use spell/abilities that have the element innately.
- Bringing MP batteries (e.g. Ayaka, Ace, Rosa) is recommended.
- Units that can fill the LB crystal (e.g. Nyx, Aileen, Ayaka, Malphasie) are useful for the "use limit bursts" missions
- In the Bonus Stage, keep up water resistance on your team to survive Architeuth's magic attack if you use a physical cover tank. But if you use a magic cover tank, be prepared for AoE physical attack.
- The attack pattern of Io Lv. 99, Erinyes and Architeuth LV. 99 will be the same as their respective trials.
