A subspecies of belmodar with an armor-like shell. The thorns growing from the tip of its nose and from its shoulders are very hard, and uses it as a powerful weapon by curling its muscular body into a ball to charge into enemies. When angered, they will bring destruction to any around it, this giving it the name "rampager". It is said that the malel show their superiority by honing their thorns with their claws, and the louder the honing sound, the stronger it is. Because of this, the females have very keen sense of hearing.
