A new trial will become available each day of the trial marathon. It will remain open for the duration of the event. Players that have previously cleared the trials will be able to do them again for the same rewards. However, event currencies will be replaced with 3 Gil Snapper Families.
Shadow Bahamut is Dragon race, susceptible to ATK break, and has a hard HP threshold at 39% HP. A magic cover tank will make quick work against its attacks.
Kefka is Human race, susceptible to ATK/DEF/SPR break with high resistance against MAG break, and has +90% resistance to blind. Though he has +200% resistance to all elements, he will periodically debuff a specific element by -6000%.
The FFXII trial has two waves:
Doctor Cid is Human race, susceptible to DEF/SPR break, and has +50% resistance to light and dark with +100% to every other element. He uses AoE magic attacks and buffs his ally's DEF/SPR.
Famfrit is Demon race, immune to all breaks, and is weak to fire but strong against light and water, but neutral in the rest. He uses water magic damage.
Kain is a Human race, immune to all breaks. First turn he will jump and target the highest SPR unit, though passive draw does work against this. All his attacks are ST physical, except his AoE ice and dark magic attacks. He can inflict stop.
Awakened Hasiko is Demon race, susceptible to all breaks, and is weak to dark and light with +100% to every other element. Bring a good source of AoE MP refresh (e.g. Bless +2), build up your DEF/SPR.
When a Spirit is killed, Awakened Hasiko uses a magic nuke, and imperils herself (-300% Light and Dark) for 3 turns. When the imperil wears off, kill the other Spirit for another 3 turns of imperil.
