Tips[]

  • See testimonials and discussions.
  • It is recommended to use non-elemental damage, as each boss is immune to different elements.
  • Flamesblade will use Iai Strike multiple times if forced past multiple thresholds in one turn, which will likely wipe your team. Either limit your damage or kill Flamesblade in one turn.
  • Terror Knight will AoE Death your party AFTER he dies, bring a source of Reraise or Death Immunity with a recovery plan.
  • For the Europa fight, it is recommended that you kill Searcher immediately when it's summoned, as it can use an ability which chains with Europa.
  • In the current meta, it is possible to clear the mission with 1st turn being OTKO for the first 8 encounters. Dispensing a slot for tanks, and adding another unit instead will increase damage output and party sustainability (HP/MP restore) for this technique. What is needed: High ATK/MAG units (no less than 2500), both AoE chainers, and 1 finisher, non-elemental all of them (if wanted, earth damage can be used or imbued, since is the less resisted and Earthquake can reduce earth resistance), a strong buffer with some MP battery, and a strong re-raiser (e.g. Rem or a very resistant and resilient Rikku for the Terror Knight) and a strong ATK/MAG de-buffer for Europa, which is the one that will resist the OTKO. This is because most of the enemies have almost the same HP/DEF/SPR, and the same breaks vulnerabilities mechanics and this almost non-variable mechanics make predictable each battle.
