Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Wiki

I saw that a lot of newbie related info was removed by the latest edit. I had assumed the Guide section should be aimed at newbie players or veterans looking for a quick reference, but mostly newbie players? Is that incorrect? Newbie players are the ones who are looking to see the differences between Chamber of Experience vs Cactuar Dunes.

Also, should any of the following discussions be included in the wiki page to inform a newbie player?

  • Do we know what the rate for Great/Amazing Cactuar fusions? (Or the rates during increased bonus rates?) This affects how much exp cactuars are worth when you fuse cactuars one at a time (lvl 39 gigantuar -> lvl 1 gigantuar = lvl 40 gigantuar, lvl 40 gigantuar -> lvl 1 gigantuar = lvl 41 gigantuar, etc. hoping for bonus 1.5x/2.0x procs.) I think veteran players who level a lot of their units and have run out of cactuars would be interested in the most nrg efficient way to level units.
  • Do we know if there is a cap to the experience bonus? I've gotten my bonus up to 360% and I'm wondering if there is no cap.
  • Should we mention explorations as an alternative? For example, Timber Tracks has historically outperformed PRO by a large margin. Now that we have ELT, that exploration is only ~25% better at a cost of 2884% more battles and so much walking to proc random battles. There are probably newer explorations that give better exp/nrg, but I haven't looked, nor seen anyone mention it recently.

It is just a general place recording information about a given place that doesn't need to dive too deep into the information it provides. If you want to make a guide outside of it, then you can do that on your own terms whether it be here or wherever. A good portion of the information being provided was just saying the same thing that was already being said, but in more words. Fusion rate I don't think is known, plus it might be too fickle a thing to find out since they could change the rate on the fly or change its values to something new after each "Amazing Enhancements" event. Metal Cactuar mentions their exp stats at their fusion max. There is no cap to the experience bonus; it's just based on how much you can bring (assuming the unit can equip swords, clothes, and hats: 4.6x is the highest for jp, 4.1x for gl). Regarding explorations, which probably gets more to the root of what you're doing, this information is covered in Best places to farm. If you wanted to advise a method on cactuar fusion, then providing a concise, but relatively short explanation on either of the pages I linked may be the way to go, otherwise make your own separate guide about all these topics. --FencerTJ (talk) 06:28, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
